NATIC Releases Enrich Your Education Series on NATIC University 2.0

MIAMI  ̶  December 4, 2020  ̶  North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) has developed a new on-demand instructional series on NATIC University 2.0, providing a hassle-free way for title agents to train their staff on basic title insurance education critical to their work. The Enrich Your Education (EYE) Series comprises nine courses to start and will be followed by 10 more currently under development.
 
“NATIC’s EYE training is a vast library of informative videos developed by our expert underwriting counsel who designed the presentations specific to the needs of the novice title agent as well as for agents looking for refresher courses in the myriad areas they work,” said Valerie Jahn-Grandin, NATIC’s executive vice president and chief underwriting counsel. “Each training video runs 15-60 minutes in length, can be consumed at the user’s own pace and offers insight into technical areas of title.”
 
The EYE Series currently offers the following courses:
• Title 101
• The Money is Gone – What to Do After Cyber Fraud Occurs
• Bankruptcy Basics
• Entity Authority Underwriting Requirements
• In Stark(er) Contrast: An Overview of 1031 Exchanges
• Ethics for Title Agents
• How to Read a Title Commitment
• Consumer Protection and Elder Abuse
• Hard Money Lenders

NATIC University 2.0 is the company’s learning management system (LMS) for its title agent network. In addition to the EYE Series, NATIC University provides a continuing education (CE) and continuing legal education (CLE) e-learning center with CE accredited courses for the states of Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. CLE credit can be earned through NATIC University for the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee.
 
The LMS can be accessed from both desktop and mobile devices at https://naticu.com or through NATIC’s AgentLink portal. Anyone wishing to enroll in NATIC University must be a NATIC agent or associate and have login credentials to AgentLink.
